A classic solitaire from yesteryear, this beautiful antique ring is crafted from rich 18ct Yellow Gold, with an elegant setting where the shoulders split to form the claw setting of the diamond.  A style favoured by both men and women, where the focus is on the luxury metal and the uniqueness of the old cut diamond.

The diamond is an antique Old Brilliant Cut Diamond, originally mined and cut pre-1930.   Old Cuts have slightly different proportions to the modern brilliant cut, with a deeper crown and flat cullet.  It would have been shaped and faceted without the modern technology the diamond industry relies on today, making an old cut diamond something to admire.

Hand crafted from luxurious 18ct yellow gold the shank measures 2.6mm at the back.  The diamond has an approximate diameter of 4.7-4.8mm.

This ring is part of our pre-owned collection and has been professionally cleaned, polished, fully checked and tested so you can buy with confidence.  This is an antique ring, so will show some wear and require an awareness of its heritage when worn.

The ring is currently a size T and is suitable for resizing.
