This is a really fabulous antique gypsy set ring, dating to the end of the Victorian era/start of the Edwardian era.

It features one of the most beautiful old mine cut diamonds i've come across. The lively diamond is securely claw set in a diamond shaped frame and is approximately 0.30ct. It catches the light in the way only old mine cuts can and sits beautifully on the finger.

At its largest point, the face of the ring measures approximately 7mm and it tapers down to 2.5mm around the back. It is marked for J. W. and 18ct Gold and weighs a comfortable 3g. It could be re-sized, but is currently a size UK N 1/2 (USA Size 7).

This stunning piece of history remains in wonderful condition, and it has been cleaned and is ready to wear!
